Whim Services Sales Manager

Shelby Hawkins is no stranger to the Whim family. In fact, her family is partially responsible for creating the Whim family, as it was her dad that first introduced Whim Co-founders Kim and Whit Hanks to one another, and Shelby’s mom was one of the first-ever site managers at Camp Lucy.

Shelby would formally join the Camp Lucy team after attending Blinn College, but she would leave Dripping Springs for two years to take a sales position in the Washington D.C. area. Shelby has returned to her hometown and Whim Hospitality, this time taking on sales responsibilities at Whim’s Austin Event Design Center. She is most passionate about coordinating the logistics of event planning, and making sure everything is executed flawlessly to her client’s needs.

She spent almost three years growing up in Germany, and this experience helped develop a desire to travel the world in her free time. She can also be found making jewelry or spending time with her friends and family when she is not helping coordinate some of Austin’s biggest events.
