Small-town gal, Laura Campbell made her way to Austin while obtaining her degree at the University of Texas and hasn’t slowed down since. After pursuing a degree in nutrition, she decided to add a degree in Culinary Arts to the list in hopes of combining culinary skills with her knowledge of nutrition to better work with clients to create delicious, nutritionally balanced meals. With a whimsical beginning, Laura spotted the excitement of the world of food & beverage while owning a snow-cone stand in college. After a diverse path through various prestigious roles in the Austin hospitality and hotel scene, Laura harnessed her passion for events, sales, and an untouchable level of customer service. After a brief break from Whim Hospitality where she explored a development role at Red Velvet Events, she has returned home to Whim Hospitality to lead the sales team and continue to expand the reach of Whim services.
Laura is energized by the continuous growth of Whim hospitality and an exceptional team that never settles for second best. When she isn’t making connections with clients, she can be found deep sea fishing with her husband, wine tasting with friends, or hanging out with her 3 pugs and 3 cats.
