Catering Sales Manager

After growing up in Washington DC and receiving her degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!), Whim Hospitality scored a touchdown with hospitality ray of sunshine, Courtney Davis.

Courtney began her career in events while interning with The Washington Football Team Charitable Foundation where she assisted with fundraising events at The FedEx Field & practice facilities. After college, she moved home to DC and interned with Grit & Grace, a well-established wedding & event planning company, before landing a job with River Creek Country Club, a Clubcorp property. She quickly worked her way up through Clubcorp starting as a Membership Services Coordinator at River Creek and eventually making it to Director of Private Events at The University of Massachusetts Club in Boston, MA. After nearly 4 years in Boston, she decided it was time to move back down South, setting her sights on Austin, TX! Before finding her home at Whim Hospitality, she excelled in the role of Director of Catering & Private Events at The University of Texas Club where she managed catering services for the Game Day Suites as well as Private Events held throughout the Club and other areas of the football stadium.

In her role at Whim Hospitality, she really finds “a win” when she can see her client’s vision come to life on event day.

When she isn’t adding a little spice to Whim’s catered events, you can find Courtney watching college football or soaking up the sun on any beach with her husband, John Aaron, and their yellow lab, Brody.
